Having spent here some time I can clearly say - taxi and private hire is not like it's been yesterday. It has changed tremendously! Just a few minutes in SF and you are surrounded by pink-mustached vehicles from lyft.com, and not so flashy but noticeable Uber black cars. Getting anywhere on time has never been easier - just pull out your smartphone, touch the screen and in a few minutes you are on a ride. Beautiful!

There is a problem. You see, all our customers who work in private hire, black cab, limo are wise people, they see a great opportunity in the technology we provide and looking forward to grow their business, expand using the new tools and aiming on competing with Uber, Hailo, Lyft and other market-beakers here in US and in other regions. But most of them want to have their own brand, which seems cool, as they should fight for their business and their brand as believed it is recognised or yet to be by their customers. But looking from a passenger perspective, do they want to have a 100 apps on their smartphones? And do they want to instal a new app once they arrive in a new area?

Last week TaxiStartup team had a great time at The Next Web USA Conference in New York. It took a bit of a trip to get here, and that's not only a 10h flight, but also a lot of efforts to win the place on the stage.
We have a great vision how our product can improve our customers' businesses and I has been a great honour to share that vision with the jury and the rest of participants. It is our goal to help our customers to top up their service using the best technology available on the market, and that generous goal is driving us forward, helps us being efficient and quick.
